BUILDING COMMUNITY, SHARING LIFE, AND LOVING OTHERS

The Loving Team at First Presbyterian Church is dedicated to fostering community, connection, and care, reflecting our mission to love others as Christ loves us. This team oversees a variety of ministries that bring people together through fellowship opportunities, including our annual Churchnic (church picnic), post-worship gatherings, game nights, and Lenten suppers. They also support small groups, such as the Men’s Breakfast and Women in Faith, providing spaces for deeper relationships and spiritual encouragement. In welcoming new members and celebrating milestones like graduations, confirmations, and 50-year member recognitions, the Loving Team ensures that everyone feels valued and supported in their faith journey.

Additionally, they coordinate funeral luncheons as a ministry of comfort and hospitality and maintain the church’s official membership records. Through these efforts, the Loving Team helps create a warm, connected church family where all are known, loved, and cared for.
